My husband and I spent one week here during final week of September 2020, us both being the only guests due to the current pandemic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: Max and Lauren being superb hosts, overall great staff at the resort itself, deliciously freshly cooked meals 3x daily and each day wonderful dives with a dedicated boat crew and dive master, Nico. The bungalow was cleaned each day, in house laundry service. We will certainly return to this little piece of divers’ heaven on Alor Island. Wonderful marine life and each dive site showed different treasures. We returned to Jakarta totally relaxed and with many great memories to treasure

We were the last to leave before the resort was forced to close due to the Corona Virus pandemic. All our connecting flights for future plans during this trip and resorts were closed or cancelled. Max and Loren did a fantastic job accommodating us both with the diving and hospitality. The support staff at the resort and diving staff were superlative. Especially Kadir. He could see things and point them out to us that we would never have seen in our own. He. Also kept contact with us the whole time, even when visibility was limited. He is among the best dive guides we’ve had. Thank you Loren and Max.

Alor was such a surprise. Great muck diving and beautiful reefs packed in an off the beaten path location. Don’t go here for the weekend, go for a week to ten days. Lots of dive sites to visit so you won’t get bored. Surprises too! Like blue whales and Mola Molas. Unlimited shore diving usually means discomfort and slugging gear. They made this so easy. I dived almost every day on the House reef after three boat dives. Always had great support, never carried my gear. I’m going back.
