    Travelling solo, I spent 6 nights at the Waiwo Dive Resort in February 2020. It is very remote, and takes time to get to and from. that is a good thing. You feel like you’ve reached the end of the earth and you can leave everything behind.
    Considering the remoteness of the area, the resort manages amazingly well. I am vegetarian and the food was consistently varied and delicious.

    I was staying for diving trip and here are the review: First: you need to send whatsapp to the resort management for detail inquiry. Their email is not working properly. Hotel staff responds your text WA pretty quickly and very informative. Second: room is good. clean. Nothing to complaint. Third: resort is awesome. They should arrange the front beach sitting area with proper bench instead of plastic chair. Four: diving experience. I was staying for diving package. It’s good management, they’re re-new the diving team and equipment.

    I am already moonlighting about my next trip to Raja Ampat at Waiwo. The resort is quietly nested in a heart of Waisai jungle right by the beach. Every night, the white noise of ocean waves softly brought us to sleep. So I highly recommend the ocean front rooms.
    The room was super clean, staff were so warm and sweet, Always accommodated our requests quickly, esp. when we asked for more banana frites hahaha. Since most trees are well-preserved, it makes the area very cool but the staff did some magic, I didn’t see many mosquitoes.
